TFP/TFCD shootings and discounts

Time For Prints shootings is a kind of collaboration between the photographer and the model, when the photographer pays model for work with his work and pictures, and vice versa — the model pays the photographer with her posing and the right to sell the pictures. This is not a "free photos", but some sort of a mutually beneficial barter.

I am shooting for some stock photo agencies (and selling photos), so I'm always looking for interesting, open-minded models of any age and sex. Experience also does not matter.

How to contact me and arrange the shooting

Please write a short e-meil and describe yourself as a model. When you will be on Canaries? Which genres of photography are you interested in? Do not hesitate, please write about everything you've ever seen and thought of in terms of photography, what do you like, send examples from mags and net. Please attach some of your recent photographs, full height and facial portrait. I cannot promise the TFP shooting, but I will answer for sure. TPF possibility mostly depends on my schedule and plans.

My general TFP conditions:

  • I become the owner of all rights on the photos produced during the TFP shooting (to sell and publish). This is appointed in the Model Release.
  • I make the major decisions on shooting scenario and story, motives, location, etc. (Sure, I am open for your suggestions and very glad if you've got a lot of ideas)
  • You recieve 20-30 professionally retouched and processed best photos, and all others as JPEGs on DVD or via online storage.
  • If we rent some equipment or studio, we pay it 50/50.
  • 18 y.o. and over, 21+ for shoots with any nudity. Kids welcome with parents.

I especially iterested in:

  • Unusally looking persons. Exotic, eastern, with lots of tattoos, experimental haircut, dreadlocks etc.
  • Extreme sports people. Surfers, kiters, skaters etc.
  • Groups of friends, 20-30+, couples, may be with kids. Families.
  • Any kind of "professional looking" people, posing in uniform and/or on working place.

What is the Model Release?

M.R. is a contract between a model and a photographer, which allows the last one to process, retouch, publish and sell the photographs. And he does not have to go and ask model each time someone wants to buy an image. When models sign it, they agree that the pgotographer recieves such rights.

What's the use of it? The model does not have to pay the photographer for his work. The customer will pay him after. Who is the customer? It is an editorial staff, publishers, advertising agencies, designers, producers etc. Signed model release guarantees that persons listed above will not have legal problems with the pictures.
